It is situated in the Seraj Valley at an altitude of approximately 2,150 meters, about 80–90 km from Mandi.
It is a peaceful, green destination featuring pine and deodar forests, meadows, apple orchards, and views of the Himalayas.
It is often referred to as a hidden gem or "India’s Switzerland" because it remains largely untouched by mass tourism.
Its most famous attraction is the roofless Shikari Devi Temple, located at an altitude of around 3,350 meters.
Other highlights include trekking, camping, waterfalls, and nearby spots such as the Bulah meadows and Jalori Pass.
Best time to visit: April–June and September–November.
