Culpina K

Culpina K is a small village in the province of Nor Lípez, department of Potosí, in southwestern Bolivia (near the Salar de Uyuni). 

Location: Approximately a 1 hour 45 minute drive from Uyuni, at an altitude of approx. 3,765 m. 
Population: Small village (community) with quinoa cultivation as the main economic activity. 
Special features: Known as the "pueblo de los árboles de metal" (village of the metal trees) due to modern metal sculptures and monuments, including a large metal snail (caracol de magnetita) by artist Gastón Ugalde. 
Attractions: Laguna Vena (only freshwater spring with ruins/chullpas), Mirador de la Cruz (viewpoint), archaeological sites, and traditional Quechua culture. 
History: Originally named K'asara; The name "Culpina K" comes from a place in the valleys + "K" to distinguish it from other Culpinas (such as in Chuquisaca). 

It is a quiet, authentic village that combines tourism with quinoa production and art. 
Ideal for those visiting the Uyuni region outside the salt flats themselves.

Tarija

Tarija is the smallest and southernmost department of Bolivia. 
It borders Argentina to the south, Paraguay to the east, Chuquisaca to the north and Potosí to the west. Various agricultural products are grown in this department. 
There is grape growing, cattle breeding and fishing.

La Paz

La Paz is one of the departments of Bolivia, it has an area of 133,985 km². 
The Bolivian government resides in the capital of the department, La Paz. 
However, the titular capital of the country is Sucre. 
The department is located in the NW of Bolivia, N is the department of Pando, in the O Beni and Cochabamba, southern Oruro and in the W the countries Chile and Peru. 
In the department, the Andes is divided into two mountain ranges, the Cordillera Real (or Cordillera Oriental) and the Cordillera Occidental. 
Between these two mountain ranges is a plateau country, the Highland of Bolivia.

Beni

Beni, sometimes also called El Beni, is one of the nine departments of Bolivia, located in the NE of the country, in the lowlands. 
With an area of 213,564 km² it is the second largest department in the country and with 421,196 inhabitants it is also the second most sparsely populated. 
The capital is Trinidad.

Santa Cruz - Bolivia

With roughly 1.5 million inhabitants, Santa Cruz de la Sierra, or Santa Cruz for short, is considered the largest city in Bolivia and is the capital of the Santa Cruz department.
