Flag of Saint Lucia

The flag of Saint Lucia was designed in 1967 and features unique symbolism: A bright blue color representing the ocean and the Caribbean Sea, as well as the blue sky.

A black isosceles triangle with a white border, symbolizing the cone-shaped Pitons volcanoes (Gros Piton and Petit Piton) rising from the sea, and representing the black and white population groups living together in harmony. 

Overlaid on this is a yellow arrowhead or isosceles triangle, representing the radiant sun and prosperity.
