Ban Ho Village

Ban Ho Village is a quiet ethnic village in the Muong Hoa Valley, approximately 25-30 km southwest of Sapa (Lao Cai, northern Vietnam). 

It is situated lower in the valley, where the Muong Hoa and La Ve streams meet, and is known for terraced rice fields, clear brooks, waterfalls (such as the Jumping Fish Waterfall), traditional stilt houses, and a peaceful atmosphere with fewer tourists than nearby villages. 
The village is primarily inhabited by the Tay ethnic group (with Dao and Mong communities also in the surrounding area). 
Visitors often come here for trekking, homestays, and cultural experiences.

Tay Ninh

Location: Tay Ninh is located in southeastern Vietnam, near the Cambodian border, approximately 100 km northwest of Ho Chi Minh City.
Capital: Thành phố Tay Ninh (Tây Ninh City). 
Key features: Known for the sacred Ba Đen Mountain (Núi Bà Đen), with the highest pagoda in Vietnam and a popular pilgrimage and tourist destination (cable car to the summit). 
Headquarters of the Cao Đài religion (Cao Dai Holy See – Thánh Thất Cao Đài), a unique Vietnamese religion with colorful temples and daily ceremonies. 
Border province with many rubber and cassava plantations. 
Historically important during the Vietnam War (Cu Chi tunnels are located nearby, and there was much fighting in this border area). 
Climate: Tropical, with distinct dry and rainy seasons. 
Dry season: December to April (best time to travel). 
Economy: Agriculture (rubber, cassava, sugarcane), tourism, and cross-border trade with Cambodia. 

In short: Tay Ninh Province is a tranquil, green province with a mix of unique religion (Cao Dai), natural beauty (Ba Dan Mountain), and historical significance, ideal for a day trip from Ho Chi Minh City.

Thai Binh

Thai Binh is a coastal province in the Red River Delta of northern Vietnam. 
The name means "great peace" in Sino-Vietnamese. 
It borders Hai Phong and Hai Duong to the north, Hung Yen and Ha Nam to the west, Nam Dinh to the south, and the East Sea to the east, approximately 110 km southeast of Hanoi. 
Known as the "rice granary of the north" for its fertile delta and extensive irrigation system, with two rice harvests per year, agriculture dominates the economy, supplemented by fishing, traditional crafts (such as silverwork in Dong Xam and embroidery in Minh Lang), and natural gas resources. 
Culturally rich: birthplace of water puppetry, cheo opera, and famous figures such as the scholar Lê Quý Đôn, founder of the Trần Thủ Độ dynasty, and military figures from the Indochina Wars. Famous attractions include the Keo Pagoda (dating from 1061), Con Vanh Beach, mangrove forests, and more than 2,200 historical sites. 
The climate is tropical monsoon: hot summers (May-Oct) and mild winters (Nov-Apr).

Thai Nguyen Province

Thai Nguyen Province is a province in northeastern Vietnam, near Hanoi (80 km) and serves as a gateway to the northern highlands. 
It has an area of ​​approximately 3,522 km² and a population of approximately 1.35 million, with a mix of 50 ethnic groups, mainly Kinh, Tay and Nung. 
The province is known for its tea plantations, especially Tan Cuong tea, and has a strong industrial base with mining (coal, iron, titanium) and steel production. 
Tourist attractions include Nui Coc Lake, Phuong Hoang Cave and the Museum of Cultures of Vietnam's Ethnic Groups. 
The climate is subtropical with a rainy (May-October) and dry season (October-May). Thai Nguyen is also an educational center with 21 universities and colleges.
