Vondelcarrousel

The Vondelcarrousel is a historical horse quadrille with sidesaddle riding, dating from the 18th century and recognized as intangible cultural heritage. 

It is the oldest active group performing this tradition, featuring eight horses and riders in period costume. The show takes place at De Hollandsche Manege in Amsterdam, twice a month (on the first and third Sundays) as part of the Living Horse Museum.
