Fès-Boulemane

Fès-Boulemane was an administrative region in northern Morocco from 1997 to 2015, with Fès as its capital. 
It covered an agricultural area of ​​19,795 km² in the north, bordering the Rif Mountains, and had approximately 1.8 million inhabitants (2014). 
The region included the provinces of Boulemane, Fès (prefecture), Sefrou, and Moulay Yacoub. 
Since 2015, it has been incorporated into the larger Fès-Meknès region.
