Diepenheim Civic Guards' March-Out

The march-out of the Diepenheim Civic Guards is a centuries-old tradition in Diepenheim.
On the last Saturday of September, the marksmen parade through the village in their historical uniforms as the highlight of the Schuttersfeest (Schutters' Festival).
A week before, it is announced with drums and bells, followed by a parade past the old town hall and other landmarks.
The event, part of the intangible cultural heritage, attracts large crowds and preserves living customs like stamppot (a traditional Dutch stew) for the participants.
