Brielle Masquerade in Brielle

The Brielle Masquerade is a centuries-old tradition in Brielle (Den Briel), which begins annually on December 5th at 7:00 PM in the Market Square. 

It's a cheerful costume party with a parade through the streets, full of nostalgia, conviviality, mulled wine, hot chocolate, and music. 

Adults and children dress up and participate in a 175-year-old folk celebration closely linked to Sinterklaas Eve. 

The event celebrates local culture and attracts thousands of visitors.
