Flag of Paraguay

The flag of Paraguay (adopted on November 25, 1842) is one of the most unique national flags in the world because its obverse and reverse sides differ.
The flag consists of three horizontal bands in the colors red (top), white (middle), and blue (bottom).

The Obverse (National Flag): The white central band features the national coat of arms of Paraguay, displaying a yellow star encircled by a palm branch and an olive branch, with the text "República del Paraguay" above it.
The Reverse (Treasury Seal): The white central band features the treasury seal, consisting of a yellow lion guarding a liberty cap on a pole, accompanied by the country's motto: "Paz y Justicia" (Peace and Justice).

Symbolism of the colors:
Red: Represents courage, patriotism, and justice.
White: Represents peace, purity, and unity.
Blue: Represents liberty, benevolence, and sincere ideals.
