Kagawa

Kagawa is Japan's smallest prefecture, located in northeastern Shikoku, bordering the Seto Inland Sea.
Its capital is Takamatsu.
Formerly known as Sanuki Prefecture, Kagawa is known for its Sanuki udon noodles, olive production (especially on Shōdoshima), and traditional dishes such as hone-tsuki-dori (seasoned chicken).
Major attractions include Ritsurin Garden, a historic landscape park, Kotohira Shrine, and Naoshima, an island famous for its art museums.
Kagawa has a mild climate and is connected to Honshu by the Great Seto Bridge.
The prefecture is also home to 23 of the 88 Shikoku pilgrimage temples and Marugame Castle, one of Japan's oldest castles.
