Innlandet

Innlandet is a county in inland Norway, created in 2020 by the merger of Hedmark and Oppland, with Hamar as its capital.
It is the largest county in land area without a coastline, covering 17% of mainland Norway.
Innlandet is home to the highest mountain (Galdhøpiggen), the longest river (Glomma), and the largest lake (Mjøsa).
It is known for its rugged nature, national parks such as Jotunheimen and Rondane, and popular hiking trails like Besseggen.
It is a center for agriculture and forestry, accounting for 20% of Norway's agricultural production and 40% of its logging.
Cultural highlights include the Maihaugen Open-Air Museum in Lillehammer and the Lom Stave Church.
The 1994 Winter Olympics were held in Lillehammer and Hamar.
