It is situated lower in the valley, where the Muong Hoa and La Ve streams meet, and is known for terraced rice fields, clear brooks, waterfalls (such as the Jumping Fish Waterfall), traditional stilt houses, and a peaceful atmosphere with fewer tourists than nearby villages.
The village is primarily inhabited by the Tay ethnic group (with Dao and Mong communities also in the surrounding area).
Visitors often come here for trekking, homestays, and cultural experiences.
