Especially around Guilin and Yangshuo, world-famous: "Guilin's landscape is the most beautiful in the world" is a well-known Chinese saying.
Climate: Subtropical → hot & humid, high rainfall, tropical fruits (lychee, longan, mango, pineapple). Known for: Li River & karst mountains (shown on the Chinese 20 yuan banknote).

Diversity of ethnic minorities & colorful festivals.
Tropical coast (Beihai). Rice, sugarcane, fruit, and increasing tourism.

In short: Guangxi = beautiful nature (especially Guilin/Yangshuo), rich ethnic culture, and a relaxed southern Chinese atmosphere.
