Rotterdam Summer Carnival

Rotterdam Summer Carnival is one of the largest and most colorful festivals in the Netherlands, inspired by the carnival of the Caribbean (such as Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao). 

The event celebrates multiculturalism with a spectacular 5 km street parade full of floats, dancers in striking costumes, and live music. 

In 2025, the main parade took place on Saturday, July 26, with more than 2,500 participants from 27 groups, as part of Rotterdam Unlimited. 

It attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors to Rotterdam city center every year.
