Provinces: Roma, Viterbo, Rieti, Frosinone, and Latina.
Location: on the Tyrrhenian Sea (west coast), bordered by Tuscany, Umbria, Abruzzo, and Campania, among others.
The landscape is varied: volcanic lakes (such as Bolsena, Bracciano, and Vico), hills, coastal plains, beaches, and mountains (Apennines in the east).
Lazio is rich in Etruscan and Roman history, medieval villages, gardens (such as Ninfa), thermal springs, and beautiful coastal towns (Sperlonga, Gaeta).
Although most people come only for Rome, the surrounding region is a green and often still quiet paradise with abundant nature, wine regions (Castelli Romani), and special places such as Civita di Bagnoregio and Bomarzo.
In short: Rome + much more than just the city – ideal for culture, beaches, lakes, and the real Italian countryside!
