Mendoza

Mendoza is a province in western Argentina, bordering Chile.
The capital of the same name, Mendoza, is the economic and cultural center.
The province is located at the foot of the Andes, with Aconcagua (6,960 m) as its highest peak.
Mendoza is world famous for its wine production, especially Malbec, with extensive vineyards and bodegas.
The dry, sunny climate and irrigation from Andean rivers make agriculture possible.
Tourism flourishes thanks to wine routes, mountain sports and natural parks.
Mendoza's economy runs on wine, olive oil, mining and energy.
