This moderately difficult hut-to-hut hike takes you across islands, peninsulas and the mainland, connected by bridges and ferries, with breathtaking views of fjords, mountains and the Norwegian Sea.
The route, divided into a maximum of 13 stages, is suitable for both beginners and experienced hikers and offers flexible entry and exit points thanks to good public transport connections.
Stages vary from 3-4 hours of walking per day, with altitudes of up to 900 metres and sometimes wet, boggy terrain.
Overnight stays are possible in mountain huts.
The best time is June to August.
