Schaffhausen

The canton of Schaffhausen is a small canton in the north of Switzerland, bordering Germany. 

The capital is Schaffhausen, known for the nearby Rhine Falls, the largest waterfall in Europe. 

The canton has a rich history, with medieval architecture and a strong economic connection to Germany due to its border location. 

The economy is based on industry, trade and tourism. Schaffhausen is unique because part of the canton (enclaves such as Büsingen) is completely surrounded by Germany.
