Caminho De Ferro De Moçambique Station, Mozambique

The Maputo Central Station (Estação Central dos Caminhos de Ferro de Moçambique, CFM) in Maputo, Mozambique, is a historic and architecturally striking railway station built between 1908 and 1916 in the Beaux-Arts style.
The station, with its distinctive dome and marble columns, connects three railway lines (Limpopo, Ressano Garcia and Goba) and plays a crucial role in regional trade and connectivity.
Operated by CFM, it supports freight and limited passenger services.
It houses a museum and cultural events such as the Marrabenta Festival and is recognised worldwide as one of the most beautiful stations.
Recent upgrades have improved capacity, particularly for the Ressano Garcia line.
