Damanhur or Hermopolis Mikra is a city in Egypt.
The city is located in Lower Egypt, in the middle of the western Nile Delta, about 160 kilometers northwest of Cairo and 70 kilometers east-southeast of Alexandria.
It forms the capital of the Al Buhayrah Governorate.
