Calama (Chile)

Calama is a municipality in the Chilean province of El Loa in the Antofagasta region.
Calama had 138,722 inhabitants in 2012 and covers an area of 15,597 km².
Calama is the rainiest place in the world.
In 1974, rainfall fell for the first time in 400 years.
