Violet (Viola)

The violet is often seen as a bedding plant or in a bakery on the balcony and is a symbol of humility before Christ.
An extinct species from France the Viola Cryana lived well on limestone, but due to the mining of this the plant has become extinct.
The flower is used as the base of many perfumes and is edible in cooked form and contains many vitamins.
