Since 1929, impressive floats decorated with approximately four million dahlias have paraded along a 2.5-kilometer route, accompanied by marching bands and street theater.
The event, organized by the Lichtenvoorde Flower Parade Foundation, is on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List.
Thousands of volunteers, including young people through CorsoKIDS, build the floats.
After the parade at 2:00 PM, the floats are displayed on Gert Reindersstraat until 10:00 PM, with award ceremonies on Monday.
Admission requires a ticket; grandstand seating and parking are available.
