Ice hockey

Ice hockey is a variant of hockey played on ice. 

The sport falls under the "ball sports" but the puck used is not a round ball, but a flat disc of rubber, with a diameter of 3 inches and a thickness of 1 inch. 

The players use a stick with a fairly large flat surface.
