Sardinia

Sardinia is an Italian island in the Mediterranean Sea, W of mainland Italy and N of Tunisia. 
It is the second largest island in the Mediterranean, after Sicily. 
Sardinia has a varied landscape with mountains, forests, beaches and lakes. 
The highest point is Punta La Marmora (1834 meters). 
Sardinia's coastline is more than 1,800 km long and has many beautiful beaches and coves.
