Chepstow Castle

Chepstow Castle in Chepstow, Monmouthshire, Wales is the oldest surviving post-Roman stone fort in Britain.
Located above the cliffs on the River Wye, construction began in 1067 under the instruction of the Norman Lord William FitzOsbern.
