Piraeus, Greek: Πειραιάς, with various spelling variations such as Pireus, Piraea and Pireas, is a city in Greece. 

Piraeus is located in the agglomeration of Athens, both cities are on the same Attica peninsula. 

Piraeus is the port of Athens, 12 km from the center of Athens.
