Álftanes (Alftanes) - Iceland

The former municipality of Álftanes is located in SW Iceland near the capital Reykjavik in the region of Höfuðborgarsvæðið. 
The residence of the President of Iceland is located on the Bessastaðir domain in Álftanes.
