Beng Mealea is one of the new highlights of Cambodia, a beautiful jungle temple only recently can be visited since all landmines were swept into the region in 2003.
The complex in the style of Angkor Wat is approximately one square kilometer in size and reach along four paths.
From a distance you get the impression that nothing remaining but by creeping plants overgrown ruins, but who ventures into the complex, wait a wonderful experience.
The temple is currently not crowded yet, so you still get the impression of being an explorer ... but the place is so spectacular that in the foreseeable future a lot more tourists will come.
