Siem Reap

Siem Reap also called Siem Reab is a province in the north of Cambodia, the capital is Siem Reap. 

The name means Siam defeated and refers to a battle between the kingdom of Ayutthaya and the Khmer empire. 

The ruins of Angkor, the former capital of the Khmer Empire, are located in this province.
