Carambola

The carambola or blimbing manis is a plant from the wood sorrel family. 

The fruits are also called carambola and star fruit. 

It is a relative of the smaller blimbing. 

It is a tree up to 12 m high with a short trunk and spreading branches, which can lose its leaves during dry periods.
