Corozal

Corozal is a district of Belize, located in the far north of the country. 

The capital is the city of the same name Corozal Town. 

The district covers an area of 1860 km² and is inhabited by 41,061 people. 

Although the island of Ambergris Caye is located off the coast of Corozal, it belongs to the Belize District.
