Vaal River

The Vaal River is the largest tributary of the Orange River in South Africa. 

The river rises in the Drakensberg Mountains, E of Johannesburg and forms the boundary between the provinces of Mpumalanga and Free State, before merging with the Orange River at Douglas SW of Kimberley.
