Sandnes is a municipality in the Norwegian province of Rogaland.
Sandnes is located 15 km south of Stavanger.
It borders Sola to the west, Klepp and Time to the south and Gjesdal and Forsand to the east.
It lies on the Gandsfjord and the Ganddalen valley.
