Greymouth (New Zealand)

Greymouth is the largest city on the west coast of the South Island of New Zealand with about 12,000 inhabitants.
The city was named after the River Gray in 1868, as it flows into the Tasman Sea.
In 1848 the river was named after Sir George Gray, who was then governor of New Zealand.
