White collar kite (Leptodon forbesi)

The white-collar kite (Leptodon forbesi) is a bird of the family of the Hawks (Accipitridae).
It is a critically endangered endemic bird species in Brazil.

Characteristics
The bird is 50 cm long on average.
It is a two-colored bird of prey, almost black from above and white from below, also the winged wing feathers are white.
The bird is very similar to the gray head, but the white collar has a larger dark-light contrast.

Red Bank (Belize)

The Maya village of Red Bank, off the Southern Hwy just south of the Placencia turnoff, would be well off the tourist radar if not for one remarkable natural experience. 
The rare and spectacularly plumaged scarlet macaws gather in the trees surrounding the village for around four months of the year (December to March, though sometimes they will arrive as early as November) to feast on the fruits that grow in the area.
